I saw the same chips in Vietnam and I bought it for 30,000 dongs ($3) while they sold it in NTUC for like $4.85! Hahaha.
These few days have been really busy and I haven't gotten a chance to bum at home and do absolutely nothing for a whole day since I came back from Hanoi /: Oh wells, I'm hanging on :D
Monday
Came back home
My dad thought I was landing at 8pm but I was landing at 6pm so when I reached the airport, NOBODY WAS THERE ): but nevermind, blur family -_- Cabbed home and the malay cabbie was like damn talkative. Oh and he was like, came from Vietnam is it? I was like, oh yeah how did you know? And he was like, "Oh, your conical hat." Yeah and my dad said that they (parents brother and sister) were planning to pick me up at the airport after dinner and all. Laosai.
Tuesday
Read the flood of emails
Did game proposal
Attend meeting which ended like, super late
The meeting was rather draggy and I felt pretty restless. It started at like, 7 and we stopped at 10. Then Gerald drove us to MacDonald's and we continued discussing the stuff there and we left at like, 11.30pm? And it was like pretty hard to solve the problems without Sarah around. I was so so tired /:
Wednesday/Thursday
Friendly match against Bowen Secondary
Movie marathon & stayover in church (invited Lailing!)
Meeting which was like, ...
Watched Pirates :D :D :D
Bowling/pool at Safra
Okay after lunch I went to school a bit earlier to shoot because I could seriously feel the rust in my fingers, like after going to Vietnam and stuffing my face with crabs and prawns. Yeah then cabbed with the netballers to Bowen. Then had our friendly with them anddddd WE WON but I don't remember the score hahaha (: I played like all the quarters and the sun was so hot and I was really tired and all but had fun I guess.
Went to get bubble tea with Caritas Lailing and Sandra after that before mrt-ing home. Shit it was so EMBARRASSING on the way home!
Okay then bathed and packed my stuff then went to church with Grace and met Lailing along the way. So the movie marathon! Watched Pirates of the Caribbean, Curse of the Black Pearl on video. Then the next movie was supposed to be POTC Dead Man's Chest but the retreat committee had to go attend the meeting, which means we missed it. Grr ): And it means Sandra and I had to pangseh Lailing.
Anyway the meeting. Went kind of wonky and its seriously not worth elaborating but eventually, they asked us to chill and go catch whatever that was left of Dead Man's Chest so double whoopees (:
After the two movies, we had like a round of ice breakers. Played whacko (:
Yeah then it was like 3.45am? Lights out was like 5am so we had like an hour to go do whatever we wanted. Played cards and I forgot what else until they started being strict and all. Haha I couldn't sleep at all, the sleeping bag was so thin and small and the aircon was freezing cold.
Anyway, the next morning, had breakfast an yet another meeting and I was so tired and all. Then cabbed to Suntec to watch Pirates of the Caribbean, At World's End. LIKE FINALLY, I've been wanting to watch it every since the 2nd day of my Vietnam trip. Its such a good movie, must watch and don't move off during the credits because there's a short sequence after the credits which I feel is quite worth while staying for (:
After the movie, got Yami Yoghurt (: Then I was feeling quite shit because I had a stomachache ): Okay then went to Safra (Mount Faber) because the rest wanted to play pool and bowl. I didn't play anything except those machines where you slot in a dollar and you get to play Shanghai and the photo game! Hahaha sexbombsssssss.
Yeah then went home for dinner and I'm reallyyy tired.
I haven't posted about my trip. Haha!
Anyway the next few days will be just as busy. Tomorrow we have lots of preparation to do for the retreat and then on Saturday and Sunday its the retreat already! Hope we don't screw up ):
