Retreat
Dad drove us in the morning. We reached some place with a food court and supermarket. Omg the food sucks. Hahaha. We went MAJOR junk food shopping ;D The whole trolley was just piled with junk food junk food and more junk food. Hahaha we carried all the stuff to the car and drove to the resort.
We shared this bungalow with another family of four and two single men. Haha. And you know, I had a master bedroom with a king sized bed and an attached bathroom all to myself. Hahahaha. You see, the bungalow had two master bedrooms and three single rooms with two single beds in each. So the solution would be my parents and Clement take one king sized bed, and we can drag a bed into the master bedroom for me. The other couple can take the other master bedroom, their sons can take one of the single rooms and they two single men can sort out the other two single rooms themselves.
But the whole situation started because of this bad experience my parents had. Last time they stayed in this resort, they found a dead rat under the bed. So they wanted the single room upstairs. That room had no space for an extra bed so I took the small single room since I was sleeping alone. The other couple took one master bedroom and their sons took one of the single rooms. The only room left was the other master bedroom. And the people left bedless were the two single men.
So in the end, we decided to swap. I took the master bedroom with a king sized bed and an attached bathroom while the two men took the small bed room. Hahaha.
Omg I feel so bad :P
After sorting out the rooms we went bowling. haha I played like four games? Omg 80 balls. Hahaha. After bowling we went to shower and all, then went for dinner at this chinese restaurant. Haha then played poker for like two hours before going to bed.
The next day, everyone went swimming. Haha I didn't want to swim so I played this really hard game. You had to use to fingers to hit counters into holes. Haha if you're playing with someone like me, the game would take one hour to finish (:L
After the game mum wanted to go to some spa thing so I sat at the pool and made sure my brother didn't drown. Haha omg it was damn hot and boring. Thank God for pool umbrellas and iPods. And people with hot bodies. Hahaha kiddinggg.
We went for lunch at some keylong place. Omg the crab and the prawns were SO GOOOOOOOD. But the whole place reeked of dead fish. Ew.
After lunch we drove to this shopping mall :D Yay. On the way there, there was a really bad traffic jam. I wanted to pee so badly ): My dad told me to run to one of the roadside
restaurants and do a quick one at one of the toilets. Haha so I went to this really dirrrty toilet /: After peeing I an out to the road and looked for my dad's car. Super embarrassing.
Bought a shirt. Haha. I wanted jeans from Mango because they were having 50% off. But the changing rooms were horribly crowded and I didn't feel like queueing up. Haha. After shopping around I bought a drink from Starbucks. Felt. So. Good.
We drove back to the hotel. Showered and then had BBQ dinner. Haha I ate a lot a lot a lot. Like rice, chicken wings, fish, saussages, soup, salad, cake, and pudding (:
After dinner went bowling again. This time played only two games. After bowling I went to the karaoke lounge where all the adults were singing. Hahahaha hilarious. Went to bed quite early because I was tired.
The next day we packed up and dad drove us to chuch camp (: But the car had some problems so there were delays. Oh well. But anyway, that marks the start of camp :D
Day One
Reached camp late /: Haha but anyway I carried my stuff to my room and while walking there I saw my Amazing and Super bunk mates haha. I changed up and then we all went for some treasure hunt thing. My group mates were Benedict, Juan, En Yao, Daryl, Sherill, Jeanette and Shu En. Yeah I typed that from the book. Hahaha (: Anyway we're faithfulnanas.
The treasure hunt game was like super hot and tiring ): Ran like everywhere and was sweating like shit. Haha unfit unfit tsk tsk. Anyway after the treasure hunt game, we went snack and ice cream shopping. And like on the way back I dropped like half the ice cream on the road :P We went to shower. (Hahaha bathing freaks!) Then there was dinner, which I didn't really like. But its camp I guess.
After dinner we had worship and a lesson by Kar Foon. "You did not choose me". It was about who Jesus was; Immanuel, Bread of Life, Good Shepherd, Lion of Juda and the Way, the Truth and the Life. Haha. It was a BIT boring.. :P Hey I'm honest. Okay. After the session we played this war game which was really really fun but kinda violent. Like a lot of people got injured and fell down and stuff. Haha. It was pretty exciting. The two sides were called BEARS and APES. Hahaha I was an ape. And apes reminded me of Planet of the Apes. Haha the game was really cool (:
After the game we washed up and stuff then we went to sleep. Omg I couldn't sleep well at all man. Hahha me Alethea and Sandra shared like this queen sized bed and that was quite a big difference compared to the king sized bed I shared with no one. And the bugs /: And this is weird but. I sleep best without any lights.
Day Two
We all woke up with aching bodies. Hahahahha I'm blaming the bed. We went for breakfast then devotion and another worship and lesson by Kar Foon. I don't like worship in the morning ): Haha anyway the lesson was "I chose you" which kinda reminds me of Pokemon. I CHOOSE YOU! Go Pikachu or whatever. Haha.
After the session we had station games. The games were really cool :D Definitely beat the June camp's games. Hahaha. Throughout the day there were on and off rain. The weather there is seriously screwed up. First we had some balloon game. We split into apes and bears again. Then we were supposed to hit the balloon into the other side. Haha omg the balloons were so loud then they popped.
Then we played this blindfold game. Haha we split our group into two tanks. One person was the person who directed and the rest will be blindfolded. And the blind people would throw water bombs at the other group's tanks. Okay I'll be honest. I could see through the blindfold. Haha. But I couldn't really see who it was because I wasn't wearing my glasses. Hahaha.
Then we had this really messy flour game. Haha but it was pretty funny. It was like this obstacle course. We had to spin around ten times while holding this stick. Then hop to some spot and jump like ten times. Haha then we had to pick up 5 marbles with chopsticks, then use our mouth to fish out 3 clorets from a plate of flour. First one to finish gets to dump the flour on the other person's face man. Haha I was with Bethea and omg after spinning she just COLLAPSED and banged into me. Scary. Haha so I was lucky, and that's how I smashed the flour into her face.
After the flour game we had the dog and bone game. (tsk :P) Hahaha omg Marcus Yong and Daryl were totally soaked with soap. Then we played some ping pong ball game. It was retarded haha. We totally cheated because there were some problems with the height :P Hahh.
Then the last game was some flag game. We were supposed to steal the other team's flag and bring it to our own side. Without being tagged haha. We played the whole thing in the heavy rain. Omg soakedddd. Hahaha and my slipper broke ): Heh En Yao fixed it for me. Thanks :D
After the last game we went back to the function room to collect our water bombs >:) We filled them at the pool. Hahha and some people got dunked. Haha. We carried the water bombs all the way to the carpark and wow they seriously weighed a bomb. When everyone arrived we started throwing the water bombs. Hahaha and like everyone was aiming for the camp comm and stuff. The bombs kinda hurt but it was really fun. Haha. And oops. I knocked someone's glasses off.
Then it was free time so we went to shower and all because we were really wet and dirty. Haha then we went for more snack and drink shopping :D Then we went to the table tennis and squash places to like watch them play. I didn't play. No racket sense (:
We had BBQ dinner and it was pretty nice. Haha there was this chicken thing which Shaunald kept eating and eating. And Shaunald told Alethea something about cup noodles which tickled her a lot :P
After BBQ dinner we had this torture game. Hahaha we were supposed to find the members of the camp comm and we got to torture them so they would give us some clue to the answer of how we could save our group's hostage. I guess it was kinda mean to them. Haha. After the torturing we had free time alllllll the way until like 3am.
Haha Cassandra and Li En came to our room and we were eating chips and laughing really hard at _. Hahahhahaa. Then we realised that everyone was at the function room so we went there. We played like pig and polar bear and some game where you chose a theme (e.g. cartoons) and you go in a circle, and everyone has to name a cartoon. Haha omg and broken telephone. Stupid. I was like really tired and couldn't really feel my hands and my feet. Hahaha.
After that we went back to our room. Cassandra, Esther and Lien came to our room and we played tai tee and bridge. Haha and laughed at more stuff. At like 3.45am we all decided to go back to our rooms and sleep. This time I slept better. Too tired (:
Day Three
We woke up at like 9.30. Haha then we showered, packed our stuff and went for breakfast. And were so cheated! When we went there, there was only bread. And we didn't feel like eating bread. Haha we borrowed money from Juan and Sarah to buy ramly burgers. They were reallllllllllly good. Haha.
Then we had lunch. Ate kinda little because felt full from the ramly. Haha after lunch we had the third worship session and the last session by Kar Foon. This one was about bearing fruit. Haha and our goup was really confuzzled with the passage. Lips of the fruit which confesses His name? Haha.
After the session we stuck paper on our backs and walked around writing messages. Haha was quite fun like going around and writing. Its a really nice way to end camp, thanking people for the nice things they have done and all.
After the writing session we watched this video which summarised most of the events of the year. It brought back plenty of memories. Haha but some photos were pretty embarrassing for people.
We dragged our bags all the way down the hill to the bus. Sat next to Li En. Hahaha her game boy's funny (:
Went down the bus for dinner at some restaurant. Hahaha we had a sec two table. It sounds really corny but yeah. Sec two table. Haha. Alethea, Sandra, Darren, Daryl, Jiansheng, Marcus Ang, Marcus Yong, Nathaniel, Shaunald and I. And (: The crabs and the prawns were nice. BUT. It doesn't beat the keylong one. Heh.
Omg the toilet was disgusting. So I decided to hold. Heh. Went to this snack shop and bought bumble gum and this really nice green apple gummy :D Went back to the bus. Hahaha we swapped places a lot. Hahaha. "Give us some time alone" hmm :P
Stopped at this petrol kiosk. The male and female toilets had malay signs on them so we had no idea which was what. And they both looked exactly alike. I have a gut feeling I took the male one. -_-
We went through the customs with our bags and all. And the scanning part was freakyyy. Bubble gum. Haha but nothing happened. I think they sorta close one eye on bubble gum. What they're looking for's like, guns and bombs and drugs. Scandal-related stuff.
We reached church at around 11. It was raining really heavily so there was like a whole tunnel of parents holding umbrellas. Hahaha. Mum and Dad came and drove Grace and I home. We reached home at around 12. Haha I fell asleep at like 3.
Really wanna thank God for camp. Thus ends the last YE camp. Forever. (:
