In the morning, we had confirmation class. Sandra was going but Alethea had something on I think. Yeap, so Sandra and I met at MacDonald's at Ridout Garden. I didn't know where it was so I took a bus to her house's bus stop and we took a bus there. Oh you know, so irritating. I rang the bell, and the uncle just charged past the bus stop. And I was standing up, getting ready to get off. I could hear people laughing.Bitches.
So I got off at the next stop and walked all the way back. I don't mind though. Good for the legs, yes? (:
Okay, so while walking back I saw Sandra walking out and she didn't see me so I went up behind and poked her back and she got really surprised. Hehe.
I saw something on the wall which made me laugh.
CHEESE! HAHA.
One thing I notice about Ronald is his love for cute kids... Same goes for Barney and his (little) friends.
Okay, then we went to church for confirmation class. Uncle William was teaching that day about evangelising I think. He said we were pretty distracted but I guess that all of us put together... Haha.
After confirmation class, Sandra and I went to Holland Village Cold Storage to meet Mel because they wanted to get the stuff for the BBQ. Okay, so bought plenty of things. And there was this really really nice table napkin. It was pink and had Snow White, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty on it. So pretty (:
We then went up to the shops because we wanted to get some stuff Cold Storage didn't have. There was this really nice store selling beaded stuff, like pouches and belts. Really pretty. We wanted to get those torch things, you know Survivor? Those long sticks with fire on the top?
But of course more sophisticated.
They were quite reasonably priced. But the oil needed for the fire to keep burning bright and merrily was not so we couldn't get them. In the end, we bought beads and wire so we could make rings for everyone (:
We took a bus back to Sandra's house and we walked really quickly. Haha. We made the ring things then halfway, some of them came up already so we all went down to play tennis.
Okay gosh I suck, remind me not to pick up a racket ever again. Hahaha.
Hm then they went to cook the food and we were pumping up the water balloons. Haha. Most of them had holes in them, and I think it was like a whole buck worth of balloons with holes or something.
Then after filling the balloons we put them aside and then we went to eat the food (: After eating and stuff, they gathered everyone and we played whacko. Haha.
Halfway through it was disrupted because hm. Let's say that some people did not like the way things were. Okay.
Okay now, in my opinion, my unhappiest moment of the BBQ. The water bombs. I was trying so hard to keep dry because of certain reasons. And someone had to pour a bucket of water which totally wet my butt. OMG /:
Alethea, Sandra and I went up to the house for a while. Thanks babes! Haha.
We went down and everyone was playing the number game. Then whoever who "zhong" the number has to do a forfeit. Haha okay zhong is such a beng word but I'm not a beng okay, so yup.
After that we went up to the house to play TORD. Haha. I missed most of it because dad called and asked me to come home. Followed Charissa and Saul's dad who drove Lien and Alethea to Lien's house for a sleepover and then me at the train station. Then I took a train home. Haha.
SUNDAY! Church. Haha. There was no confirmation class. I was quite late so I sat alone at the back. But guess who was later! HAHA.
KFoon gave us this quiz on our spiritual gifts. It was really really long and there were some pretty weird questions about sex. But I discovered later it was to check if you had the gift of celibacy. Anyway, I got service and faith.
Post YE. We went to the coffeeshop as usual to get our junk and then went back to church. I so regret not bringing anything to study because I had to sit there doing nothing at all. Haha so weird. Anyway, Alethea, Mel, Sandra and I played a round of tai tee with some pretty hot James Bond deck!
We sat on the floor and played polar bears. I was the polar bear with Esther but then Shaunald just had to open his eyes and see my eyes open and yeah, game over. Hahaha.
Then we went down for Holy Communion. We stood outside the church in two rows with our fingers at our pursed lips. Hahaha oh gosh it was so primary school and all. After Holy we went back up to the room and sang sunday school songs. Hm I really wonder what sunday school would be like if all of us went back there right NOW. Hahaha.
Went to my granny's house for dinner. There was some president's star charity show. I think they really improved on their ideas. I mean, instead of doing stupid stunts like walking on water, eating fire, breaking a piece of brick or stuffing needles into your face or whatever, they did this really awesome dance number with salsa and all. Now that's the way to raise money (:
