So today we had our sets and pythagoras theorem. It was one of those dangerous tests where you know its the answer, yet it could be another answer. Those type where you either score high or low. On the extreme ends.
Okay, and Merchant of Venice. The worst thing is, where ARE the mark allocations? A sheet of paper, an extract from the text, 3 questions, 25 marks. What are the weightages? How much do I write for each question? Gawd. I think I wrote equal for all three except the last one, I wrote slightly longer because I had views from both sides. Okay, and then I totally hate it when the teacher suddenly goes, "One more minute." Why can't you warn me at like fifteen minutes, then ten, then five, then one?
When JWee was like, "One more minute," I almost jumped out of my skin because I had a few more things to write. So at the end, my handwriting was pretty distorted.
Before recess, we had to try out this eye care survey. So we sat on our stools and peered into the machines in front of us. Basically, it was a really pointless "movie" with coloured cirlces flying around in.. circles? Hahaha. And corny music playing in the background. Its supposed to help your eyesight I think. Can't see any difference.
For assembly we had this talk by Mrs Bowness and she was talking about FATS. Gosh. Its supposed to make you be aware about the good and the bad fats but I'm even more frightened about fats now. I mean, just LOOK at the way they cook MacDonald's.
Speaking of MacDonald's. The calorie thing they put on your tray is pretty useless. You already bought the food right? After seeing the amount of calories, what are we supposed to do? Throw away the food?
Rah. I have like, zi du tomorrow. So I shall start reading the thing. Now (:
