Some people come up to you and go, "Oh, we can get free snacks!"
Obviously, you go, "Really? From where!"
Then they go, "Oh, from you of course."
Then the story comes out, from the back of your head to the front of your face. Actually, a couple of days ago, you agreed to sponser some sweets as prizes for a performance.
Moral of the story: Crawl out of your dreamy hole of a head and wake up. Keep your tiny little promises, here and there.
We had our pet rocket activity today. We spent about an hour and a half building the rockets with 1.5 litre coke bottle, tape, wing-like things they provided and a rubber.. uh, cone shaped thing. Which bounces when you drop them, leading to a couple of misunderstandings.
Anyway, I paired with Cherie Neo and after recess, we went to the field to part fill our rockets with water and then launch them. We were supposed to try and land our rockets into this area marked with real cones (made of plastic and do not bounce) and each class is given 35 launches. Cherie and I launched ours 3 times and we didn't get any in! We were quite close for the second one, about half a meter away, but I guess close is not good enough.
In then end, SE tied with SY, 4-4. Good job SE :D
I dragged home like, half my table today. IF the classrooms aren't locked tomorrow, I'm going to dump everything into dad's car.
