Okay, you know and I know that it was supposed to be a short essay, comprehension and cloze passage thing, right? Just like any other ordinary Chinese test. But then during recess, like, everyone was memorising sentences and essays about racial haymony. I was thinking like, oops, I didn't do anything.
Yes fine, call me a loser! :P I know I suck and I'm lousy because I'm such a lazy fool! Hahahahaha.
Yeah, then the test began. From here, I shall narrate the story from the view point of the majority.
Everyone thought that it was a waste because the so called essay, was like, this 80-100 word thing. I was so relieved because I didn't study anything! Hee hee.
Okay, this is the part where everything screws. We all did the paper normally. Just innocently sitting there, filling in our answers. And then halfway through the thing? "Time's up."
DOT. DOT. DOT.
If we were allowed to scream, we all would. And then I realised how ridiculous it was.
45 minutes to:
Write a short essay - 20 minutes
Cloze passage MCQ (10 questions) - 10 minutes
Comprehension MCQ (5 questions) -10 minutes
Comprehension open-ended (4 questions) - What? 5 minutes?
Oh why, oh WHY did I do the paper so innocently and slowly?! I should have rushed like a freak from the start! I should have crapped the stupid racial harmony thing!
10 marks gone. Just like that. With the snap of her fingers and a "Time's up". And its not 10 marks out of 100. Its 10 marks, out of 40.
The normal Chinese people had time to sleep.
Sigh. So of course, no one finished the paper. I'll be lucky to get above 10.
