Friday, March 3

Camp was good! Except for the rushing here and there and quick, cold showers and maybe I didn't really like the food but it was still wonderful.

On the first day we had dragon boating. My group's called Martin Luther King Jr. so while we were rowing we were like shouting "MARTIN!" row once, "LUTHER!" row once and we won the race! (:

We went to Raffles Marina and pitched our tents there. Shared tent with Cherie Loh, Elaine, Cherie Neo, Sarah Cheong, Shereen, Shayne and Jean! Oh shit. I am like laughing out loud. Crappy I think I must be nuts.

(Elaine took the picture. Um. I sort of stuck in my head at the last minute so that's why I look weird. Hee hee.)

After dinner Shayne went home because she had a fever. Must be the dragon boating and the hot sun. So sad. Because she's usually so cheerful and she can cause the whole tent to collapse with laughing gas but yeah, lousy things do happen.

We played this game where we blindfolded ourselves and crawled around in the dark. Each group had a cartoon character sound and we had to find one another. I felt so lost okay. Heh. It was quite fun I guess.

On the second day, we had rafting in the morning (our group and our buddy group which makes up our whole class!) and it was quite a nice feeling to be doing something as a class and everyone having a common goal (to make the raft not sink). Well... The minute the raft touched the water, the ropes got lose and everything fell apart. Still it was great fun. Ha ha.

Then we had kayaking. My kayaking buddy was Jeaniee! She's like 3kg lighter than me but I still sat in front because she insisted. Ha ha. Our goal was to get the whole class to paddle to this mark and then we'll cling onto each other's kayak in one long row and scream cheers into the causeway. I hope the motorists didn't think that we were a bunch of nutcases.

When we could go back to shore, this was the part which made me really really really ANGRY AND INSULTED. The kayaking man with the brown spiky hair and tiny eyes and fishmarket boots was like splashing salt water into our faces. I think he thinks it was fun but everyone was quite pissed and all. It made my eyes sting and my lips feel really weird. Oh well. I don't mind if its fresh, clean water, but this is like salt water which is super sandy and dirty. And like, people spit and maybe even pee into the water.

After that we went for archery! My ass was practically cooking on the floor. Heh. Plus all that salt, my hair was in a horrible state. Out of my three arrows, two flew like?! and one managed to hit the edge of the black part of the board. Archery's not exactly my strongest point, heh heh heh.

Then we went for lunch, and then Wild Wild West! Its exactly like the Amazing Race, but only in the west part of Singapore. I think I never laughed so much and so hard in my whole life! The game wasn't that fun but it was everyone in the class being so corny and acting horny and stuff that was hilarious.

We went to Jurong Point (which was like, the pit stop) to have dinner and conclude the game. Dinner was like super funny too! And then we were running late so we carried our fries and coke out. At the Perlini's Silver shop there was a picture of this model puckering his lips, ready for a kiss. All of us were laughing at it and "feeding" him coke and fries.

The trip back to Raffles Marina was super retarded. Everyone was like making weird faces and taking pictures! At the carpark, we spent like 15 mintues taking class photos! Because we were in our white class tees! And then we practiced our item for campfire night, which is basically a lot of cheers combined together.

(That's the group! Laoshi looks weird. Heh heh. Thanks Cherie Neo!)

Campfire was really awesome and like everyone was screaming and screaming. I think my class was bonded like, 30% before and now its probably 75%! The remaining 25% will gradually complete itself. All it takes is time and more class events! And then 2SE will be a happy bonded class :D

At night in the tent, Cherie Neo couldn't stop laughing and then her laughter was just so frightfully contagious that some of us were laughing too. And then we heard really LOUD snoring. It was like Sarah Cheong snoring because she was the only one sleeping and then we were just sitting there laughing and laughing. She finally woke up after hearing us laugh and laugh and then everyone started to laugh and laugh some more.

Then outside in the tent someone coughed. Then more people coughed and then even more people coughed. It was like super funny and we started the laughing again. And then SUDDENLY! A trainer open our tent, told us to stand in one line outside the tent, and scolded us. Oh well. After that the whole tent was silent and I fell asleep quite fast.

In the morning, like 12 people crammed into our tent to take photos and laugh. HA HA. Oh crap I'm laughing out loud as I type this. Its just so funny when we laugh at nothing!

We went for breakfast, then un-pitched our tents and went for rock climbing! It was quite fun. I thought it was quite scary at first but its not that bad.

We went for lunch and then went back to SCGS. On the bus we were singing like all the stupid songs which are super fun and long.

We played this scary balloon game and then we had reflections. It was quite a fun camp. The activities were fun, but I think in the end its every girl of the class who makes the real fun happen. Ha ha. And I think the 2 Farahs in our class are such LAUGHING GAS BAGS.

We went to the LT to watch a slide shows of all the photos and every time our photos appear we cheered and stuff. Then we said goodbye and broke camp. Aw...

So, although I just had a really peaceful, comfortable, yummy, clean dinner (with nice warm soup :D) where I ate on the sofa watching TV with my legs stacked on the coffee table, I kind of miss the noise and laughter. At home its just the TV, the fan, and everyone eating.

I think this camp brought my class really close together! It won't be so easy to forget things like the photo-taking, the retarded faces, the funny jokes, the screaming, the shouting, the cheers, the encouragement, the walks where we all linked arms and walked as a class and sang the walking song and most of all, the LAUGHING! :D

I LOVE LAUGHING!

Okay, so I gotta poo now (I just poo-ed 2 hours ago but I gotta poo again) so hope you had fun reading my 1200-word post! Love 2SE!
