We did this Chinese comprehension test today and it was SO difficult! I think out of 6 answers, 5 were copied, straight out from the passage. The last question was a explaining question so I had to do it in my own words. And I hate explaining questions because half the time I don't even get what I'm supposed to explain and even if I do, I have no idea how to write it all down on paper. I can draw it out or say it out loud but they'd rather die than give the marks for that.
Lao shi wanted to give out the test papers but then there wasn't time so she told us to come forward to look at the mark sheet if we wanted. I saw mine and I got 20/40 and I had to look at it 3 times to double check. Actually that's triple check. But! Thank God! I THOUGHT I FAILED. Because I always do. Plus everyone says the paper was really tough and all. Anyway. I bet it was purely and solely GOOD LUCK. Because I didn't really understand the cloze passage and its all gasak.
During Music we had to present our stomp item and we didn't even prepare for it! So she was really nice and gave us 10 minutes to practice. We came up with a really funny and weird item. Its titled "Six Bored People". And basically we looked bored and snapped and clapped our way through that 45 seconds.
Yeah, but I think it wasn't that bad because we didn't exactly mess up. Patricia's group's stomp item was SO FUNNY! Theirs was a "Meepok Stall" item and Patricia was the meepok man. And there was this part where she went NO MONEY *bang meepok bowl twice* NO FOOD *bang meepok bowl twice* and everyone was laughing and laughing. Ha ha.
I went down during the second recess with Farah and she told me a ghost story. Okay, so I got my mind totally prepared for ghost-story-mode but in the end it was some LAME joke not worth elaborating. Urgh. But its quite funny. Its funny because lame jokes are funny. I find lame jokes funny because I'm lame. I'm lame because the sky is blue. Ha.
EKu returned our Geography papers today and I got 29! Shayne got 29 HALF. Uhh. But that makes us totally equal because: She beat me for English I beat her for Math she beat me for Science I beat her for Chinese she beat me for Geog I beat her for History. Yes. So now it all depends on Lit! But her Lit's very good so I don't think I can beat her. Ha ha.
By the way. Someone's hair was pretty messy today (aside from my own). Looked like she just got out of um. Bed.
After school I went to the computer lab to type out my eyewitness report and then while walking out I saw Adria so we walked to the bus stop together. And then I suddenly realised that my wallet wasn't with me so I ran back to school and chiong-ed up to my class to look for it. Thankfully I found it under my desk! I walked back out again and saw Lailing so we went to Mad Jack's. And then after walking in we realised that there was no one else there so we walked to Coro. Heh.
And we had lunch at the Golden *hem* Rooster. I rather say "had lunch" than "ate lunch" or worse, "ate chicken" at the Golden Rooster. Ahh you can figure out why. Its all Subha's fault.
I ate this chicken burger thing and she ate this rice and lemon chicken thing. We shared this bag or really soggy and tasteless fries which we threw away 10 and a half fries after opening it. :D
Oh yeah, on the way out we saw like SO many netball seniors! Cool huh. Then we went to NTUC to get newspapers for her mommy. We then walked out to the bus stop and then we were talking and talking when Lailing suddenly went, "OH GOSH WE HAVEN'T PAID FOR OUR FOOD!" Um. SO we chiong-ed back upstairs to pay the man for burger, rice, two drinks and bag of soggy and tasteless fries. How ha-ha-ha-ish.
Anyway, its dinner time now! Ha ha. Bye!
