Went to the Juong East bus interchange to get my EZ-link card. Before going I called the office and some woman said, "Oh, it takes about an hour, excluding queueing time."
But guess what. I went there and then I gave my birth certificate to the lady there. She told us the cost and then mummy went to draw some cash so I stood in front of some sweet shop looking at magazines. When mummy came back 5 minutes later, we could collect the card already. 1 hour. Right. There wasn't even a queue. Who the hell was that woman who lied to me.
By the way, I realised that blogs are actually quite useful. I forgot the date I lost the silly EZ-link card but I remembered I blogged about it so I logged on and told the woman to hold, checked my old entries, and POW! 26 September 2005.
Ok then mummy went to NTUC to get groceries while I went to the library. And it was filled with people in uniform. All those schools and Jurong. And RV. Somehow they just love Jurong. It was pretty noisy and crowded, considering it was only 11.30am.
Still managed to get good books (: Books after 3pm are total trash, so don't visit the library after 3. I got The Secret Dreamworld of a Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella (love her stuff) and Pop Princess by Rachel Cohn. I remember seeing it in Lime before :D
Went home, had lunch, went online for 20 minutes, then practised piano. I haven't touched the keyboard for 2 entire weeks. Haha!
Then had lesson, I read a bit more, then had dinner, read more while waiting for Villa Wellness, then watched the 9pm show on ch8, then Lost :D Shannon's brother died. And his face was like, bloody. Claire gave birth and Grace insisted it was fake. Duh, she can't give birth on TV. And anyway, it wasn't as bloody as a real baby.
I promised myself I would jog tomorrow. First thing in the morning. Then I'll bathe and then I can eat as much breakfast as I want while my metabolism rate is high. Haha.
Yup, bye, and have a GRREAT time at home! Make full use of this 4 days of total freedom.
